My Lover
Drops of blood upon the snow
In the woods we meet
Your spirit has enraptured me
Through our love, it's Death I cheat

I've found you through so many years
My kind is not to love, it's said
Cold killers in the world of men
No true love among the dead

And still I searched, I searched for you
My dark blood calls to you, my dear
I hunger for your love, your soul
I shall not shed a single tear

This forest has become our home
For years we've met beneath this tree
In darkness met to share our love
Your passion now burns within me

And after so much precious time
Your hair's begun to gray
You've lost the spark of life I love
I can not see you waste away

I'd keep your love with me forever
Place in me your fate
But I can't give to you my curse
And turn your gentle love to hate

Nor can I bear to see you age
So one last kiss, I'll let you go
I walk away, alone again,
I leave you lying in the snow

Shadow Walker
Shadow walker
The knife edge gliding
Trace silver snail tracks
Across brittle ice crackling

Pierce the shadow body
Slither to shade twilight
Answer silent heartbeat echos
Seek the sand-swept desert night

Sand fills the choking throat
Blood spasms shake the breath
As the truth of Darkness sinks deeper
Face the tired leer of Death

Shadow walker
Bithing blackened tears of Pain
Tied to empty pleasant smiles
By tangled, tarnished chain

Frozen
Quiet darkness drifts
Over me with the Winter wind
The distant sun bid her fond farewells
Leaving me to another night

Shadows of my smoky breath
Twirl across the frost beneath me
Like dancers in a play
Leaping from the stage

The rail - my support - my only support
Cuts into my stolid flesh
And so I huddle beneath it
Trembling in the cold

The pale moon's light dims
Obscured by a thick blanket of clouds
That hide even th distant mountains
Shutting out the world

The bitter wind
Bends the crystal trees
Numbing cold tickles my throat
I don't want to move

Drowsy, gentle flakes of snow drift down
Angels come to save me
I move on with them
Carried by the breeze

The Silence of Ten-Thousand Miles
A pale hand reaches out to me
Through the silence of ten-thousand miles
Velvet fingers slide across my skin
mutely carressing my fevered face

Cool breaths of wind brush my burning flesh
Silently carrying the mountain rains
Bringing yearning life
Across the silence of ten-thousand miles

The blistering, numbing sun
Draining life from the slowly dying land
While I lie in the quiet shade
Of the Silence of ten-thousand miles.
